Hello my name is John Larimore and I recieved my TREC license & started inspecting homes in March 2002.
Before becoming a licensed TREC inspector ( 2002 ) - I was involved in my family's business
@ Springtown ACE Hardware & Building supply (1980-2000) dealing w/ professional home builders, contractors & remodlers, plumbers and electricians.
My duties included blue-print takeoffs ; figuring lumber lists; ordering and delvering house packages ; including lumber, windows, doors, roofing, insulation, drywall and interior trim.
My 20 yr (+) hardware experience includes extensive plumbing, electrical, HVAC (heat & air) and construction knowledge.
After a competetor's business buyout ( in 2000) I went into inspecting homes for buyers (2002) and have enjoyed doing it ever since. This work history has helped me in becoming a succesfull TREC inspector and helping home buyers look before buying.
I belong to the Denton / Wise Area of Realtors Association. I enjoy working with many realtors thru-out the DFW area. I'm equipped w/ electronic Supra Key and the Metro-Tex listing
services. Computer inspection reports and captioned photos are sent (emailed) to the client (& realtor) the evening after inspection.
